Miss America 2010 Winner

The big winner in the Miss America 2010 was Miss, Virginia, and Vanessa Cameron. The pageant was held on Saturday night (January 30, 2010). The event was held in Las Vegas and was broadcast on TLC. She beats 52 other contestants to win the crown.

The event was once again hosted by Mario Lopez. Among the judges were Miss America 2001 Katie Harman, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, musician Dave Koz, actress Vivica A. Fox, radio commentator Rush Limbaugh, and Brooke White a former “American Idol” contestant .

The preliminary competitions were scored during the week. The score were added to Saturday night’s swimsuit, talent, evening gown and interview. The judges ranked their five favorites in order and their ballots were used to determine the winner.

The first runner-up in the Miss America 2010 was Miss California; second runner up was Miss Tennessee. The third runner-up was Miss Louisiana and Miss Kentucky was the fourth runner-up.
